The Dorothy Day Center serves low-income or no income individuals and families in need of food who do not have transportation to their local food pantry.

In April 2024, the monthly delivery from the Regional Food Bank truck will arrive on Monday, April 8, between 9 and 9:30 a.m. We will be receiving a shipment this day from the Regional Food Bank. Volunteers needed. Items will be stocked on shelves and in the walk-in refrigerator and freezer. Time commitment is about an hour and a half.

On two Saturdays, April 20 and 27, at 8:30 a.m. we will sack and deliver groceries to individuals and families who do not have transportation to a food pantry. The time commitment is approximately three hours.

Volunteer Opportunities for 2024

Please note that the Catholic Worker/Dorothy Day Center grocery delivery days in 2024 will be the third and fourth Saturdays of the month at 8;30 a.m. October - May and 8 a.m. June - September.
